Frequently Asked Questions

You Asked, We Answered

Is the School of Emerging Prophets Ontario affiliated with any one church or denomination?

We are a Bible-based, Spirit-led and fully Kingdom-focused school. We are not affiliated with any one church or denomination. Students of this school are encouraged to find and actively serve in a local church.

When and where will the School be held?

We meet each Thursday on zoom from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. The year 2 students have an additional hour of class from 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm. We will meet in person at Jenny’s home in Alliston approximately one Saturday every 6 weeks. Attendance is required for the in person Saturday meetings.

What are the requirements for completing the school? How much time should I expect to invest each week?

Students must participate in at least 80% of class time each week and may only have up to 4 absences for the year. A book must be read and a one-page report turned in by the end of each module. There are six modules. Books are not included and can all be found on Amazon. Expect a minimum of 4-5 hours a week to invest your time.

What if I am not sure I am called to be a prophet? Should I still attend the school?

Yes! We will not only consider the various ways to test your calling, but the journey of a called prophet into the authority of the office prophet can be as long as 30 years! Just look at the stories of Joseph and David in the bible. This School can help to accelerate your journey, avoiding the common pitfalls along the way. Everyone can be refined when they have a humble and teachable heart and are willing to go through the process. What better way than to do it in a supportive community with other prophets?

Will the classes be recorded? What happens if I have to miss a class?

The Saturday in person classes will not be recorded. The weekly Thursday zoom classes will be streamed into a private Facebook group where they will be available to future viewing. However, class attendance is required.

Once I complete this school, what happens next?

Those who complete all of the requirements of the School will graduate with a Certificate of Completion and be given an invitation to join the 2nd Year Program of the School. Those who do not complete the requirements but did attend classes and participate will receive a Certificate of Participation and will be offered an opportunity to repeat the 1st Year Program at a reduced rate.
